February 2018 Product Update
The available DigitalGlobe Basemap imagery over the European Union by location and with the most recent coverage date indicated with varying colors. In the vast majority of locations, there are multiple imagery dates available.In January, we reviewed the GBM coverage over Sub-Saharan Africa and for this month we travel north for a review of the coverage over the European Union (EU). As one might expect, coverage in lower average cloud cover areas, like the Spanish coastline, is very recent; and then gets older as you move into the cloudier interior of Europe. - 1 to 2 yr old – 3,349,427 sq km, 76.7% coverage

- 4 yr old and greater – 3,922,373 sq km, 89.8% coverage

- Geographic Regions Covered: defined area of interest, US county, country or global
- Maximum Imagery Resolution: 50-centimeters through WMS and WCS; 30-cm for other delivery mechanisms

- Database Update Frequency: annual, semi-annual, quarterly or daily; updates are to limited portions of the database, not the entire database
