Above and Beyond
Our professional network and industry experience allows us to source the multiple datasets you need to complete projects on-time and within budget. And when geospatial complexities arise – including requirements for topographic data, hosting and streaming services and specialized geospatial technologies, we craft customized geospatial solutions that address your organization’s challenges.
Our offices are located along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in Boulder and Berthoud, Colorado. We are proud to call this state home and we believe being located in the hottest place in the US for GIS services gives us a distinct advantage over other resellers. Being close to many of our partners and industry leading technology and research allows us to keep a low overhead…and the beautiful Boulder Valley weather keeps us happy and healthy! The pleasant service and cost savings are all part of the benefit of us calling Colorado home.
Views From Colorado
All work and no play…well, you know the saying! The Apollo Mapping team takes this adage to heart as you will see in our caricatures and biographies below.
– The Geospatial Ninja –
A graduate from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Katie focused on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing during her time as a CU Buff. Katie has a diverse professional background filling roles in customer service, production and sales for several leading geospatial firms. Having worked with clients from all corners of the globe, she is well versed in the needs of the academic and research community with regards to all things geospatial. The Geospatial Ninja stands ready to conquer your next mapping project. Katie can be reached anytime by cell phone at (303) 718-7163 or by email at email@example.com. Brock Adam McCarty
– The Map Wizard –
As both a Fighting Illini and a CU Buff, Brock holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science and a Master’s Degree in Geography focusing on research in GIS and remote sensing. Since 2004, he has progressed from a role in customer service to directing a motivated team of geospatial sales and production professionals. Brock’s work with geospatial managers in the energy and engineering industries gives him unique insight into their needs, operations and innovations. The Map Wizard is here to solve your geospatial riddles and accompany you on your geospatial quests. Brock is always available on his cell phone at (720) 470-7988 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can ask me questions about DEMs, marketing, sales and technical product support.
– The Code Whisperer –
Tom Vilot started thinking creatively about code while getting his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts at Philadelphia’s University of the Arts. From such unconventional roots, he’s taught himself (and learned from the best) how to create stable, flexible, maintainable and high-performing systems that never get in their own way. He whispers and cajoles code in many languages – and shouts at it as needed! You can reach Tom anytime by email at email@example.com or phone at (303) 875-7981 for all code-related questions.
– The Cloud Tamer –
Also a graduate of the University of Colorado’s Geography Department, Fletcher focused on environment-society relations and development economics. Fletcher has worked in a variety of roles, from serving with Americorps as a 3rd grade Denver Public Schools co-teacher to working in-country as a researcher and journalist during Colombia’s civil war. As a part of Apollo’s team, his work role varies daily and entails anything from “taming clouds” in satellite imagery to fine-tuning our web-based mapping application, Map Mavin. Whether it’s the depths of The Congo during the rainy season or the overcast skies of the Scottish Highlands, there are no clouds that Fletcher cannot beat into submission. Fletcher speaks both English and Spanish and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or on his cell phone at (970)-710-0909.
Apollo Mapping is proud to work with a select group of industry leaders to provide our high quality products and services to the geospatial marketplace.
