We love maps.
We love imagery.
We love work breaks.
We hope you like them as well!
While you’re taking a quick stroll outside to soak up the sun and stretch your legs, glance up at the sky. Do you happen to see any airplanes?
For this month’s Your Imagery Work Break, we feature a 30-centimeter (cm) Pléiades Neo 3 image taken from high above looking down at the Farnborough International Airshow, which was captured July 18, 2022. Since its first show in 1948, Farnborough has been the site for introducing many famous airplanes and is the second largest such show in the world.
You can see all of the airplanes that look like diecast toys in this image. The airstrips zigzag across the photo while cars and people are seemingly miniscule dots scattered across it. Houses can be seen on the back side of the airshow curving along the southeast corner of the photo.
The Farnborough International Airshow hosts some of the largest events reflecting an ever-changing aviation industry at its site in Farnborough, Hampshire, England. The town is best known for the Farnborough Airshow, Farnborough Airport, Royal Aircraft Establishment and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch.
Have a great rest of your workday! 😊
