Your Imagery Work Break – 2019 Women’s World Cup Final

We love maps.

We love imagery.

We love work breaks.

We hope you like them as well!

February is here so that means winter weather will be breaking soon for us in the Northern Hemisphere – in celebration, get outside for a quick work break. But before you head out, take a look at this 65-centimeter image collected by WorldView-2 on July 7, 2019 over Parc Olympique Lyonnais. It also just so happens that the 2019 Women’s World Cup Final game was scheduled for 5PM local time the same day at this very stadium. This image was collected at 12:12:44 PM which is just a few hours before the kickoff of the final between the United States and the Netherlands. The match was won 2 to 0 by the Americans – who secured their fourth World Cup title. You might notice that this image is more of a side view as it was collected at a high tilt relative to the ground thereby offering a unique bird’s eye perspective – enjoy!

Have a great rest of your workday!
