Your Imagery Work Break – 2017 Indianapolis Red Bull Air Race

We love imagery.

We love work breaks.

We hope you like them as well!

Winter is here and well it is definitely cold in Colorado, in fact we got hit with two snow storms already this year! But even with the cold of winter, there is always time for a work break; so get on your jacket and gloves and head outside for a few minutes. But before you head on your work break, check out this 47-centimeter image collected by WorldView-3 over the 2017 Indianapolis Red Bull Air Race on October 14, 2017 from a high-tilt angle (or off-nadir angle). The cool side view of the image offers a pictorial view of the race not normally captured in top-down satellite imagery. The Red Bull Air Race pits 14 of the world’s best pilots in a head-to-head competition which awards its champion over the skies of one of the world’s most historic raceways, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. For more information about the event, check out this page as well as this video of the 2017 Indianapolis championship.

Have a great rest of your workday!
