We love maps.
We love imagery.
We love work breaks.
We hope you like them as well!
Leaves are changing, Pumpkin Spice Lattes have arrived, and cooler weather is (hopefully) here to stay! So put on something cozy and step outside for some fresh air and a work break. Before you head out, take a moment to check out this 30-centimeter WorldView-3 image collected over the 2021 US (Tennis) Open. We’ve featured the US Open in The Geospatial Times during previous years, including 2019, 2018, and 2017.
The 2021 US Open took place, as always, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York City. At the time this image was captured on September 4, 2021 at 11:48 AM, the Third Round was just beginning. Ultimately, Danill Medvedev and Emma Randucanu won the singles titles in their respective divisions with spectacular shows of agility and dedication. Perhaps add an extra stretch to your work break today to keep your joints as limber as theirs.
Enjoy the rest of your work day! Have a great rest of your workday! ☺
