We love maps.

We love imagery.

We love work breaks.

We hope you like them as well!

October is here which means amazing weather and fall colors – so head out on a work break soon! But before you do, check out this festive 50-centimeter (cm) Pléiades 1A image collected over the 2018 Oktoberfest on September 28th. We have featured Oktoberfest on a few occasions, once in 2016 with 30-cm WorldView-3 and then in 2011 with 5-meter RapidEye. During the 2018 edition of the celebration, a record 7.5-million liters (about 2 million gallons) was consumed over just 16 days by 6.3 million attendees – the same amount of beer was consumed in 2017 but over 2 more days! If you have never been to Munich, Germany for the annual Oktoberfest celebration, we suggest you put in on your to-travel list!

Have a great rest of your workday!
