Key April Improvement(s)

It’s been a very busy month even if users might see a huge list of system updates below. Our main focus has been super-charging search results – the system has a few bugs left to iron out but it’s looking like a 50 to 90% increase in search speeds! We are also preparing to add some new satellites systems, fix a few nagging update issues and hopefully restore a broken API with the help of the vendor. But by far the biggest improvement this month was the slaying of the bot! Specifically, we blocked a ton of automated bots/scripts that were attacking Image Hunter and slowing down the system for everyone. Since we put these new rules in place, the system has been far more stable with less system slow downs even during busy-use hours. We hoped you noticed this too!

Here is a summary of the changes/improvements we made to Image Hunter during the past month:

• It was all about slaying the bots – blocking their evil little digital fingers from slowing down Image Hunter for our human users – bye, bye bots!
