FLASH UPDATE – Pléiades Neo Satellite Launch News!

Airbus is gearing up to launch the last two Pléiades Neo satellites into space and complete their much-anticipated four satellite constellation. On October 24, 2022, after years of manufacturing and assembly in Toulouse, France, the Pléiades Neo 5 and 6 satellites arrived by plane at the European Space Center in Kourou, French Guiana. The launch date is scheduled for the end of November and once operational, the satellites will double Airbus’s daily collection capacity to 2 million square kilometers.
