Starting September 2012, DigitalGlobe changed the minimum order size for all tasking to 100 square kilometers (sq km). This creates an easier pricing model for our imagery clients as in the past there were minimum order prices which often created confusion. Further, this change creates a more realistic pricing model to get 8-band WorldView-2 orders collected over minimum size polygons.
Here is a summary of the minimum order sizes for all DigitalGlobe tasking requests:
- Select, Select Plus and Assured Tasking – mono mode
- 100 sq km
- Advanced Ortho and Elevation Series products
- 100 sq km
- Select / Select Plus Tasking & Archive – stereo mode, ortho ready products only
- 100 sq km
- Select / Select Plus Tasking & Archive – stereo mode, basic products only
- 210 sq km
