New Hexagon Aerial Imagery – 15-cm Mississippi and 30-cm Virginia

A 30-cm Hexagon aerial image collected over Blacksburg, Virginia and the campus of Virginia Tech during the Fall of 2023.

Hexagon rolled out another updated aerial dataset, this time in Mississippi with freshly collected 15-centimeter (cm) imagery plus 30-cm stereo and DSM data. Earlier this month, they released 30-cm aerial imagery of Virginia plus 60-cm stereo and DSM data, expanding and updating their statewide 30-cm aerial imagery offerings. Up next, we can look forward to 30-cm imagery of Montana and Georgia. Montana, North Dakota, and Tennessee will also get a 15-cm imagery refresher in the up-coming months, so keep an eye out for our next update.
