Your Imagery Work Break – Presidential Inauguration & Women’s March

We love maps.

We love imagery.

We love work breaks.

We hope you like them as well!

It’s March already, is that snow all melted yet? I hope so – but before you go outside and check for sure, take a few minutes to peruse the satellite image included in this article. Originally, it was our goal to feature opposing images of the 2017 Presidential Inauguration and subsequent Women’s March in Washington DC; however Mother Nature did not agree with our plan as she scheduled thick clouds for both days. So instead, this month we feature a 50-centimer WorldView-2 image collected over the Women’s March in Denver, Colorado collected at approximately 11:09 AM local time on January 21, 2017. And while the winter months are difficult to capture images during given the low elevation of the Sun in the sky, you can still see the massive crowds that gathered in Civic Park as well as marched through the streets of Denver.

Have a great rest of your workday!
