High Resolution Imagery Collections – WorldView-2 – Summer 2013, China

This map shows the areas imaged by WorldView-2 from July 1 to September 30, 2013 over China (in beige). Please note that in many instances, multiple images were collected over the same area which is difficult to portray on this static map.

In this monthly piece, we give our readers a sense of the high-resolution imagery coverage collected over a specific geography during a three month window. To do this, we pick a high resolution satellite, a defined time period and area of interest, then report key statistics on the total amount of imagery collected in square kilometers (sq km). Without further delay, let’s jump into our analysis.

  • Graphic Region of Interest: China
  • Land Mass Covered: 9,385,512.2 sq km
  • Time Period: July 1 to September 30, 2013
  • High Resolution Satellite: WorldView-2

China WorldView-2 Imaging Statistics
