With EarthWatch, you have access to millions of square kilometers of imagery with low cloud-cover and off-nadir angles. This data is accessible in streaming web-mapping services as well as through an online viewer. Last month we looked at the EarthWatch database over a cloudy region, i.e. southeast Asia; and for September we move to the flagship region for this product, Canada and the United States, to see how robust the coverage is during these summer months. And as always, the amount of recent coverage in this region never fails to surprise us, check out the eye-popping statistics here:
