The Deimos-2 Advantage

Wide Swath

Deimos-2 captures a 12-km swath at 75-cm resolution, making it ideal for larger projects.

Cost Effective

Deimos-2 is one of the few satellites with a mid-range resolution better than 1-meter. This makes it a low-cost option while maintaining high quality.

Overview & HistoryDeimos-2 SpecificationsPricing

Deimos-2 was developed by Elecnor Deimos in Spain and was purchased by Urthecast in 2015. It offers 1-meter (m) resolution panchromatic imagery along with 4-band, 4-m multispectral (i.e. blue, green, red and near-infrared [NIR]); or 75-centimeter (cm) 4-band pansharpened imagery. The highly agile sensor is able to quickly collect successive images.

75-cm imagery fills a gap in the high-resolution market between expensive, half-meter or better imagery and lower-quality 1-meter or worse imagery. Deimos-2 is ideal for larger projects that require the fidelity of high-resolution imagery.
