Check out the new software catalog released by NASA to the public.Software is an integral part to any successful NASA mission; and while many of the technological and scientific innovations invented by NASA have been released to the public for commercial and academic use, software has not had the same notoriety. On April 10, NASA released a new catalog that includes over 1,000 codes developed by them for a plethora of different purposes. Anything from chemical material tracking to guidance and control for the Apollo missions to semantic text mining and even image processing software is included in the release. There are all sorts of interesting categories, like crew and life support, propulsion, electronics and data servers processing.
