Free For All: Falcon 9 Redux

I recently shared SpaceX’s first attempt to land a Falcon 9 rocket on a barge in the Atlantic. I say attempt because it didn’t quite work out, but bear in mind this was the first attempt of its kind and it got pretty close before crashing and burning pretty spectacularly. SpaceX has once again attempted the barge landing with a Falcon 9 rocket with similar results, they got pretty close. It looks like it’s going to make at first, but it comes in at a bit of a tilt that it’s not able to correct before toppling over and exploding. The video, in true cinematic fashion, shows the explosive attempt multiple times, zooming in further for dramatic effect.

Awwwesome! (Video Credit: SpaceX)
