DigitalGlobe Improves the Horizontal Accuracy Specification of WorldView-1/2 Standard Imagery Products
After months of intensively testing both WorldView-1 and WorldView-2, DigitalGlobe has updated the horizontal accuracy specification on its Standard product series to 5-meters CE90% (Circular Error 90%). As was the case in the past, this specification is not a guaranteed accuracy as Standard imagery products are only georeferenced. Rather, this is a global average from tests of Standard imagery versus a database of points with a known latitude, longitude and elevation (typically referred to as ground control points, or GCPs).
